C Program: Convert Kilometers to Miles

Introduction

Distance conversion is a common application in everyday life and programming.
The kilometer (km) is a metric unit of distance, while the mile (mi) is commonly used in the United States and a few other countries.

The formula to convert kilometers to miles is:

miles=kilometers×0.621371miles = kilometers \times 0.621371miles=kilometers×0.621371

Where:

  • 1 kilometer = 0.621371 miles

In this program, we take a distance in kilometers as input from the user and display its equivalent in miles.
